Who should attend?
Anyone in the community concerned about or directly affected by mental health concerns who wants to learn more about stress and anxiety and ways to manage.

Are you sure it’s not just for professionals?
While we have many fantastic presenters with lots of letters behind their names, they have all committed to presenting information that is equally meaningful to professionals and non-professionals.

Where will the 2023 conference be held?
The conference will be held in person at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). We will be in the large auditorium for the presentation panel and use classrooms for the breakout sessions. We intend to live stream the panel for those who cannot be with us in person.

Your fee includes the full conference: presentation panel, three breakout sessions, exhibit hall, continental breakfast, lunch, and an optional networking session. It does not include CEUs (this is an added fee).

Which payment portal are you using?
Payments are being processed directly through Eventzilla.

How do I get the breakout sessions I want?
Register as soon as you can. We cannot exceed classroom capacity. There is a place on the registration form to list sessions you would like to be moved to if space becomes available. We encourage you to coordinate with friends and/or colleagues to attend different sessions to share what you have learned.

What if I want to make a change to my registration?
Please go to https://www.eventzilla.net/attendee/login. You will see “Retrieve my tickets”. Enter the email address you used to register to access your information. You may be prompted to enter a password, selecting reset will allow you to continue the process. Click on the link for the event (21st Annual Community Mental Health Conference) and you will see the session enrollment choices. If you need assistance please contact us.

Do I have to attend the whole thing?
There are morning only and full day conference options available. Should you wish to miss the panel and attend the breakouts only, or will be arriving late, please let us know in advance by emailing nrcinstitute@thechicagoschool.edu so that we do not count you as a “no show” and give away your breakout slots.

Can I earn Continuing Education (CE) Credits/Units?
We expect to offer CEs for Psychologists, and up to 4.5 CEUs (panel = 1.5, each breakout = 1.0) for Illinois State Counselors and Social Workers (LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW), for those who attend the full panel presentation as well as all three breakouts. ISBE PDC also available for some sessions. Full catalog here. You will need to sign in and out of the panel as well as the breakouts you attend. Certificates will not be provided at the conference; they may take up to two weeks to process in accordance with our accrediting bodies and will be sent via email.

Is there a charge for Continuing Education (CE) Credits/Units?
Yes. The charge varies with your choice of registration (full in person, panel only, or virtual). You must attend the full session and complete all requirements (sign-in, sign-out, evaluation and quiz if applicable). CEU charges will only be refunded if there is an error on our end. Participants who do not follow the guidelines leading to ineligibility will not qualify for a refund.
