Trilogy’s mission is to support people in their recovery from mental illness by helping them discover and reclaim their capabilities, life direction, and well-being.

Central to the philosophy of all Trilogy services is a belief in the possibility of long-term recovery from mental illness and mental illness with co-occurring substance use issues. We operate under the assumption that people can and do make good choices for themselves when offered accurate information, a wide array of recovery options, acceptance, and support. Our services are designed to maximize individuals’ independence, self-sufficiency, and quality of life, by helping people identify their own strengths, talents, and interests and to develop their own wellness recovery plans.

Trilogy is a trauma-informed care organization.  We have an appreciation for the high prevalence of traumatic experiences in persons who receive mental health services.  Every single client served by our organization experiences a safe and trusting physical and social environment that provides trauma-informed and trauma-specific services that are easily accessible; person-centered, competently delivered, culturally respectful and consistent with recovery-oriented principles of collaboration: shared decision making and self-direction.

Roycemore was founded as a girls’ college preparatory school and became coeducational in 1962. The original north Evanston campus was located in a National Historic Landmark building designed by Lawrence Buck. The school relocated to a new campus at 1200 Davis Street, Evanston, in late 2011.

Roycemore has a welcoming, positive and energetic school culture. Students, teachers, administrators, and parents work together to maintain a community that reflects the School’s core values: respect for others, appreciation of differences, and a commitment to academic excellence in a challenging but non-competitive environment. This culture is supported by character education in Lower School, and Advisory in Middle and Upper Schools, where students select their faculty advisors and engage in a small group conversation about issues relevant to adolescents. Parents are encouraged to be involved and to help enrich and sustain the family-like atmosphere of the school.

Roycemore welcomes all who share our passion for inspiring young people to achieve excellence and who celebrate the wonderful uniqueness of every individual. The Roycemore community includes many different kinds of students and families from throughout Chicago, Evanston and the northern suburbs.
