Annual Mental Health Conference
The Institute is proud to plan, promote, and underwrite an annual conference that addresses critical mental health issues in the community. Past conferences have focused on Bi-Polar Disorder, Addiction, gender and mental health (Males, Females), Adult Depression: Prevention and Treatment, and Supporting Loved Ones Suffering from Mental Illness.
Education and Outreach
The Institute offers mental health education, trainings, and presentations to the greater Chicagoland community in an effort to decrease stigmatized and marginalized populations. Through partnerships with schools, community-based organizations, associations, and religious congregations, NRCI is able to raise awareness of the impact and consequences mental health diagnoses on an individual and community scale.
Graduate Student Fellowship
Each year we partner with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology to offer a Fellowship to an advanced full time Clinical Psychology student who acts as an advocate for the Institute and its mission.
